Set Sail for Public Art

A Riverwalk Arts Fundraiser

We are on a mission to bring vibrant public art to downtown Attleboro, and you can help us make it happen.

On Sunday, June 28, join fellow Riverwalk Arts supporters for a delightful, leisurely evening cruise along the historic Blackstone River.

The Vision

Our current goal is to purchase and permanently install "Rainkeep," a stunning sculpture by renowned local artist Allison Newsome. Currently pictured below in Venice, Italy, with the European Architecture Venice Biennale titled ‘Winged Lion,’ which is the symbol of Venice. We want to bring this incredible piece home to its permanent destination in Judith Robbins Riverfront Park right here in downtown Attleboro.

What to Expect on Board:

  • Discover & Learn: Hear the story behind the "Rainkeep" sculpture, learn about the rich history of the Blackstone River, and get an insider's look at how Riverwalk Arts plans to bring even more public art installations along the Ten Mile River.

  • Sip & Savor: Enjoy crisp, locally crafted hard cider from Sowams Cider Works Company, refreshing water, and a complimentary light boxed supper.

  • Make it Your Own: Feel free to bring along your own favorite beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) to enjoy during the cruise!
